Here is an example of how to determine the mole ratio using the combustion of butane as the chemical reaction.
The Mole Ratio is the comparison between the moles of each of the reactants and products in a balanced chemical equation.
For the reaction above there are 12 different mole comparisons.
Once the mole ratio is determined it can be used to compare apples to oranges in a stoichiometry calculation.
