#pi# is normally known as the circumference of a circle divided by its diameter, but #pi^2# has no physical meaning.

#pi^2 = (3.14159265358979cdotcdotcdot)^2#

#= color(blue)(9.86960440108935cdotcdotcdot)#

Interestingly enough, it is also able to be determined using:

#6sum_(n=1)^(oo) 1/n^2 = 6[1 + 1/4 + 1/9 + 1/16 + ...] = pi^2#
