  • Solubility is a measure of the amount of solute that will dissolve in a given solvent at a given temperature.

  • Solubility of salts are measured based upon a growth curve as most slats will dissolve faster in higher temperatures as the molecules of the solute are more active and are moving further apart and the molecules of the solute are also moving more rapidly and are bale to move throughout the solution at a faster rate.

  • Solubility of gases are measured on a decay curve as gases are more soluble at lower temperatures, as the gases are more stable and therefore are more likely to remain in solution and not escape with higher temperatures.

I hope this was helpful.
