The function # F(C) = 1.8C + 32# means that the F ( fahrenheit scale is a function of C ( celsius scale ).

Well, i don't have to solve for this because we all know that water boils at 100 degree celsius and in fahrenheit scale it is 212 degrees fahrenheit

but for the purpose of this question let me plug in the value

# F(100) = 1.8*100 +32 #
#F(100) = 180 + 32#

# F(100) = 212#
