The slope of the line joining two points, representing the rate of change of the y value with x, can be calculated as:
slope=(Deltay)/(Deltax)

In your case:

slope=(6-3/4)/(-2-1/3)=((24-3)/4)/((-6-1)/3)=

=21/4*3/-7==-9/4
