The formula is `F=m*a`
Where `F`=force, `m`=mass and `a`=accerelation.

Fill in what we know:

`F=m*a`
`1600N=m*40m/s^2`
`m=(1600N)/(40m/s^2) = 40 kg`

And there we have a problem, because crate+bricks have a mass of only 40 kg while the crate is 150 kg.

I think you missed, or added, a `0` somewhere.

Let's make the crate lighter : 15 kg
Then the bricks weigh `40-15=25kg`

Or cut down on the accelaration lets make it `4m//s^2`
(`40m//s^2` is very high, it's 4 times gravity , or `4*g`)
`F=m*a`
`1600=m*4`
`m=400 kg`
Which would leave `400-150=250kg` for the bricks

`F=m*a`
`16000=m*40`
`m=400 kg`
Which would also leave `400-150=250kg` for the bricks

My bet would be on possibility (2)
