On Socratic, you can ask any question related to the subject in which you ask it.

This typically means that the questions you ask on Socratic will be academic in nature. However, beneath the larger umbrella of academic questions, questions can take many shapes and forms.

You can ask a really specific question, such as:

Or, you can ask more general questions about a strategy for learning or the theory behind something, like:

Questions that are about Socratic more generally but aren't related to a specific academic subject belong here in Socratic Meta. These types of questions might be things like:

Questions that are totally unrelated to Socratic or any Socratic subject, like "How do you cook a perfect poached egg?" don't belong here at all.
