In general, given two points (x_1,y_1)(x1,y1) and (x_2,y_2)(x2,y2) the slope is given by the formula
m= (y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)m=y2y1x2x1

Taking (x_1,y_1) = (3,3)(x1,y1)=(3,3)
and (x_2,y_2) = (4,0)(x2,y2)=(4,0)
the slope is
m= (0-3)/(4-3) = -3m=0343=3
