The equation given to us is in the Slope Intercept Form `y = m*x + c` where `m` is the slope and `c` is the Y intercept

The standard form of a linear equation is `ax + by = c`

So we first multiply both sides of this equation with 2

`2*y = 2((1/2)x - 1)`

`2y = x - 2`

Transposing `-2` to the left hand side, and `2y` to the right, we get

`2 = x - 2y`
