You can find its roots and then turn them into factors.

Let's use Bhaskara to find the roots:

#(-13+-(169-4(12)(-14)))/24#
#(-13+-29)/24#
#x_1=-7/4#, which is the same as the factor #(4x+7)=0#
#x_2=2/3#, which is the same as the factor #(3x-2)=0#

Thus, factoring your quadratic, you'll get:

#(4x+7)(3x-2)#
