The x-intercept is the value of #x# when #y=0#
#color(white)("XXXX")#since #x=-3# for all values of #y#
#color(white)("XXXX")#the x-intercept is #(-3)#

The y-intercept is the value of #y# when #x=0#
#color(white)("XXXX")#but #x# is never equal to #0#
#color(white)("XXXX")#therefore there is no y-intercept
