Government use tax to pay for public services
Explanation:
In most countries tax is revenue for the government. Governments use this money to provide services to the public. Examples of public services includes improving infrastructures (building roads, improving railway systems etc.) and providing public services such as free medical clinics, libraries etc. In some countries tax is also used as a method to decrease the gap between poor people and rich people (eg South Africa uses a progressive tax scale where low income earners pay low or no tax and high income earners pay up to 41% tax).
