Inertia and force have different dimensional formulas.

Explanation:

F=[MLT^-2] and I=[ML^2]
Moreover force causes a change in the state of rest or motion of a body whereas inertia is only a property due to which it resists a change in it's state of motion or rest.
Inertia is the rotational equivalent of mass.
