The slope of any line can be found out if two of its co-ordinates are known. We have the following formula for the slope of aline where the two co-ordinates are given. (m is the slope of the line).
m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Here let the first set of co-ordinates be x1 =-3 and y1 =-2 .
and the second set is x2=-8 and y2=8 .
Substituting in the formula, you will have m=-2
