Genghis Khan was the founder of the Mongol empire.

Genghis Khan united the Mogolians then proceeded to conquer various lands of Central Asia and even as far as Syria, Vietnam, Poland, and etc. During the invasions, many people were slaughtered. Rebels or civilians killed. During his reign, he granted religious freedom, abolished torture, and ordered a writing system. Genghis Khan had numerous children from the various women he procreated with. One of his grandchildren, Kublai Khan was affiliated with Marco Polo. Genghis Khan's resting place is apparently unknown.

Genghis Khan's life is a tad bit difficult to explain without the use of Chinese characters and his life is quite complicated.
