Via a system of pipelines.

Explanation:

Natural gas is extracted from sedimentary reservoirs and then sent to a gas cleaning plant to remove impurities like CO2, and SO2. Once it is cleaned it is put in a large pipeline and moved to various markets. Once it gets to a city or town, it is sent through a smaller distribution system of pumps and the pressure is reduced. Typically this smaller distribution line of natural gas will go down streets or back alleys if you have them and then connector pipes will bring it into homes.
