What is the difference between a renewable and non-renewable resource?

Renewable resources can in theory be renewed forever. Non-renewables cannot.
Explanation:
Renewable resources are usually through to be forests, solar energy, wind energy and water. All of these resources, if used sustainably, can be natural renewed. Non-renewable resources have a fixed quantity and once they are used up, they are pretty much gone. Examples of non-renewables include fossil fuels, uranium, copper, and gold. Although, metallic minerals like copper and gold and be recycled if economic to do so.
