Explanation:
y = mx + c , is the equation of a line in slope-intercept form.
where m represents the gradient (slope) and c , the y-intercept.
the equation here : y = x - 10 is in this form and by comparison with the above equation y = mx + c , we get slope = 1 , y-intercept = -10
To sketch: plot the point (0,-10) and using the definition of slope plot some other points from there.
