x+3y+6=0

Explanation:

the equation in point slope form slope of -1/3 and passing through the point (6, -4)

By slope point form,

(y-y_1)=m(x-x_1)

(y-(-4))=-1/3(x-6)

(y+4)=-1/3(x-6)

y+4=-x/3+2

y+x/3=2-4

(3y+x)/3=-2

3y+x=-2xx3

3y+x=-6

3y+x+6=0

i.e. x+3y+6=0
