There are two ways to do this:

1) we recognize that #4sqrt13# = #sqrt13 + sqrt13 + sqrt13 + sqrt13# So when you substitute that into the equation you get:
#sqrt13 + sqrt13 + sqrt13 + sqrt13 - sqrt13 = sqrt13 + sqrt13 + sqrt13 = 3sqrt(13)#

2) we factor #sqrt13# out,leaving us with #(4-1)*sqrt13 = 3sqrt(13)#
