From the first eqn., we get, #-10x=-4y-64#, & sub.ing this #-10x# in second eqn. we have,

#-4y-64-8y=-112 rArr -12y=64-112=-48.#

#rArr y=-48/-12=4#

Then, from the first eqn., #-10x+4(4)=-64 rArr -10x=-64-16=-80#

#rArr x=-80/-10=8#
