It could represent the temperature decaying with time. The law of temperature decaying is well described by

#T = T_0 e^(-lambda t)#

in which

#T_0 =# initial temperature
#lambda =# cooling coefficient
#t =# time

but the graphic describes better a hyperbolic law (?) like

#T = T_0(t_0/t)#

instead of an exponential law.
