Explanation:
Cartilagenous rings in the wall of trachea are incomplete i.e. C shaped stuctures. These are surrounding the trachea from ventral side. On the dorsal side rings are incomplete to allow easy passage of food through oesophagus.
The rings are made of hyaline cartilage .
