If by combining, you mean to add them then,

#(4x+4x^2)-(7x^2+x)=4x+4x^2-7x^2-x=3x-3x^2#

If you mean to factorize then solve, all you have to do is to equal that to #0#

#3x-3x^2=3x(1-x)# That's the factorization

Solving for #x=>3x(1-x)=0#

#=>3x=0# and #1-x=0#

#=>x=0# and #x=1#
