What are the vital roles of bacteria?

1 Answer

Bacteria have vital roles in cycling of minerals, genetical reseaches, preparation of medicines etc.

Explanation:

  1. The bacteria have important roles in the global ecosystem. All the ecosystems on the earth in water and on the lands depend on the actvities of bacteria. They heavily mould the ecosystems by different vital roles. Some important roles played by bacyeria in ecosystem are the cycling of nutrients such as carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur. These nutrients replinished in ecosystem by bacterial decomposition actvities.
  2. Instead of the ecological roles, they are used in medical sciences for production of medicines, genetical reseaches etc. But some harmful roles of bacteria are spoil of food stuffs, pathogenes for some diseases etc. Thanks
