Why should writers take a break between writing the first draft and revising?

Explanation:
When you're writing an essay, you'll inevitably write something that sounds good at the moment. But if you come back to it later when your mind is cleared, you may think "what was I thinking there???" and change it accordingly. Coming back to revise later is always a good idea.
