The remainder is #=-4#

Let #f(x)=x^3+10x^2-4#

To find the remainder when #f(x)# is divided by #(x-a)#

#f(x)=(x-a)*q(x)+r#

when #x=a#

#f(a)=(a-a)*q(a)+r#

#f(a)=0+r=r#

Here, #f(x)=x^3+10x^2-4#

and #a=-10#

So, #f(-10)=-1000+1000-4=-4#
