What are the affects of population growth on economic development?

It is not necessary that population growth is bad.

Explanation:

Population growth can be seen in two ways
1.)Overpopulation
2.)betterment of human resource.
Example for Overpopulation is India
Where the avg. Density of population is more than 350 people per sq. Km
Overpopulation leads to increase in economic load(food capacity,illiteracy) due to lack of job oppurtunities.
Due to lack of job oppurtunities there is unemployment which leads to poverty , which further leads to illiteracy, competition for food among poor and at last finally worses the economic condition of country...
