Why is physiology more difficult than anatomy?

Physiology is the study of what those bodily structures do.

I don't know if the one is more difficult than the other, but they do focus on related but different things.

Recently, a new structure was found in the colon of humans, the mesentery - and so the study of its anatomy will go into how it attaches to the colon, how it is nourished by blood flow, and so on. The physiology will focus on how the structure works - does it absorb water, or hold microbiome bacteria, or what.
