The success, or lack thereof of social relationships, can both indirectly and directly affect stress.
Explanation:
We live in an increasingly connected world. For the most part, humans want to be connected to others. Without that connection, or relationship with others, we can feel lonely and/or stressed for a number of reasons.
On the flip side, success with social relationships can help ease stress. Friends and family can help ease burdens and relieve stress.
