times is multiplication(#*#)

So six times a number is #6*x=6x#

Three more than six times a number is #3+6x#

With the 'and six', I believe you simply add #6# to the above if it is not together. Meaning we would have;

#15=3+6x+6#

If it is together, then that means six times a number and six would be #6*(x+6)=6x+36#

In that case, it will be #15=3+6x+36#
