How do I draw a horizontal line in a fraction so I don't have to use / particularly for when using the quadratic formula?

Using brackets to groups numbers and variables

hash (-b+-sqrt(b^2+4ac)) / (2a) hash gives: `(-b+-sqrt(b^2+4ac)) / (2a)`
