Solutions are two rational numbers.

Explanation:

#-6x^2-6=-7x-9#

#hArr6x^2+6-7x-9=0#

or #6x^2-7x-3=0#

Discriminant of quadratic equation #ax^2+bx+c=0# is #Delta=b^2-4ac#

Here #Delta=(-7)^2-4xx6xx(-3)=49+72=121# i.e. #Delta > 0# and is square of #11#

Hence, solutions are two rational numbers.

These are given by #(-b+-sqrtDelta)/(2a)# and here these are

#7/12+-11/12# i.e. #3/2# and #-1/3#
