All the waste materials of our body is removed by excretion which helps the body to maintain homeostasis.

Explanation:

Homeostasis is the ability of our body to maintain stability. For example, keeping blood pressure at normal level, or maintaining blood glucose/sodium/potassium/cholesterol/uric acid level.
Excretion removes unnecessary products such as extra amount of water or electrolytes (Sodium, Potassium etc) from our body.
Extra water and electrolytes are unnecessary because they elevate blood pressure which definitely harms homeostasis.

Excretion removes the byproducts of our metabolism process as well (bilirubin, biliverdin, urea) as they are harmful for your kidney.
So if excretion doesn't occur, waste products will simply pile up in your body causing fluctuation in homeostasis.
