You can write this in infinitely many ways, but the simplest one is #frac 5 1#

Explanation:

There could be more, like,

#frac 2.5 0.5#

or

#frac 10 2 #

and you can divide and multiply both numerators and denominators by the same number to get #5# as a fraction.

This is the definition of a rational number. A number which can be written as a fraction.

Any fraction will do:

#25/5 = 55/11, 200/40,# etc

#A = 5/1#

Explanation:

In order to write any whole number as a fraction, all we need to do is to place the whole number as the numerator and the denominator as #1#, which means that the expression will read:

#5# divided by #1#.

Which is the whole number.

All the best!

There are infinite possibilities but we are going to look at a few examples!

Explanation:

#5/1#, #10/2#, #15/3#, #20/4#, #15/5#...so on.

So, if you want 5 as a fraction, it has to be a fraction where if you divide the numerator by the denominator, then the quotient (answer) should be 5. Try doing what I just told you with the fractions in the starting of the explanation. Your quotient should be 5 for all of them. So that means that they are all different examples of 5 as a fraction!
