Photosynthesis is most efficient at wave lengths 400 & 500 nanometers to 600 & 700 nms.

Explanation:

This range corresponds to the violet - blue and red parts of the visible spectrum.

It also occurs at wavelengths between 500nms and 600 nms, as accessory pigments such as carotenoids and xanthophylls also provide extra absorbtion.
