I think that the #$24# landed in the wrong place....!

You have #8# vans so that you'll need for sure to spend:

#8xx24=$192# for the wipers.

Let us call the cost of one change of oil #x# so that you get for the total and for the #8# vans:

#8x+192=432#

rearranging:

#x=(432-192)/8=$30# which is the cost of one oil change.
