x-int = (6,0)

y-int = (0,3)

See graph in explanation

Explanation:

f(x)=-1/2x+3

For the x-int, make y=0

-1/2x+3=0

-1/2x=-3

x=6

For the y-int, make x=0

y=3

The intercepts are (6,0) and (0,3).

graph{-0.5x+3 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}

This is a good example to use for graph scaling
