To solve you need to get all the x's on to one side and numbers on the other.

Start by subtracting 4x from both sides.

$10 x - 4 x + 5 = 4 x - 4 x + 19$ $10x-4x+5=4x-4x+19$
$6 x + 5 = 19$ $6x+5=19$

Now you would subtract 5 from both sides.
