Deneb and Rigel would appear much brighter than they are

Explanation:

They would be bright enough to read by, although probably too bright to look at.

Alpha Centauri is 4.37 light-years away, while Deneb is around 2600 light-years, and Rigel 860 light-years distant.

If you moved Deneb to the Alpha Centauri distance, it would appear #(2600/4.37)^2# = 354,000 times brighter than it is now. Rigel would be 39,000 times brighter. Both would certainly be brighter then Venus at its brightest. In Deneb's case, possibly ten times as bright as a full moon.
