Propaganda

Explanation:

Propaganda was important because it helped nations recruit and send messages to the people about what they can do to help. Posters were huge. Some posters included recruitment information (Austria-Hungary launched recruitment posters in 16 different languages). Other posters included messages like "Support the War" and "Buy Liberty Bonds." Other posters and messages included vilifying the enemy. Some posters included displaying Germany as a gorilla, killing women and children. Some could be seen as extreme. Other things includes like public speaking events about the war, postcards, radio messages (if your village even had radio), and soldiers themselves talking to people about the war. It helped support the cause of war in a time, which today, historians say WWI was pretty pointless.
