Sometimes I see a question come up that is very similar to a (lengthy) solution I posted months earlier. How do I look up the previous solution and link it to my response to the new question?

You can use the search bar.
Explanation:
In the top-right corner of every Socratic page you will find a search bar that you can use to look for questions--both answered and unanswered--or contributors.
So what you do is simply copy a section of the question, paste it in the search field, and hit Enter.
For example, I tried looking for this question using the search bar. I copied this part

As a final note, keep in mind that the search doesn't work that well with math expressions or equations, meaning that it's best to use actual words in the search field when possible.
