I also recommend John R. Taylor's "Classical Mechanics"

Explanation:

It is, in my mind, a very complete book on classical mechanics. It also has some nice chapters on the Hamiltonian and Lagrangian formalism of CM, which are two beautiful concepts that really add to your understanding of the laws of nature.
