Just like you would name a cyclohexane. Convert the chair conformation to the ring conformation. It should make things easier
Explanation:
If something is up that means that it would be on a bold wedge on the hexans ring. If something is down it should be on a dash. It doesn’t matter if it’s axial or equatorial up
