Dextrorotatory turns the plane of polarized light clockwise
Levorotatory turns the plane of polarized light counterclockwise

Explanation:

When you have a pair of enantiomers, one will turn the plane of polarized light clockwise (+) and the other will turn it counterclockwise. Don’t associate Dexto and levo with R/S bc they are not related
