Just a hint.

There are #100cm# in a #m#.

Since #cm^2=cm*cm#, #m^2=cm*cm=100*100=10,000cm^2#.

#cm^3# would be one more #*100#.

#7.2m^3 xx 1000xx1000 = 7,200,000cm^3#

Explanation:

The prefixes of the units of length in the metric system are:

#Kilo" "Hecta" "Deca" "metres" "deci" "centi" "milli#

They are all connected by a factor of #10#

To convert metres to centimetres: #xx10 xx10 = xx100#

(Smaller unit, so there will be more of them)

However when you are working with area, it is a two-dimension quantity, so you have to convert in two directions. (length and breadth)

To convert square metres to square centimetres:
#xx10^2 xx10^2 = xx100 xx100 = xx10 000#

Similarly for volume. It is a three dimensional quantity so you have to convert in three directions: (length, breadth and height)

#xx10^3 xx 10^3 = xx1000xx1000 = xx1,000,000#

#7.2m^3 xx 1000xx1000 = 7,200,000cm^3#
