How to count #'H'# bonds in the picture and whether in the picture any other bond exists except #'H'# bond?

Explanation:

You should know that how many bonds are between #"A"-"T"# and #"G"-"C"#.

  • Adenine and thymine binds with #color(red)(2# Hydrogen bonds.
  • Whereas guanine and cytosine binds with #color(red)(3# hydrogen bonds.

Now, count how many #"A"-"T"# and #"G"-"C"# bonds are there.

I found #color(red)(4# #"A"-"T"# bonds and #color(red)3# #"G"-"C"# bonds.

Then total amount of hydrogen bonds are #color(blue)((4xx2+3xx3)=17#
