A= 3x-5 , B= 3-x

Explanation:

A+B=2x-2 ; (1) , A-B=4x-8 ; (2)

Adding equations (1) and (2) we get,

A+cancelB +A-cancelB=2x-2 + 4x-8 or

2A=6x-10 :. A= 3x-5

Subtracting equation (2) from equation (1) we get,

A+B -(A-B)=2x-2 -(4x-8) or

cancelA+B -cancelA+B=2x-2 -4x+8 or

2B= -2x+6 :. B= -x+3
