How do you solve #4(v+6)-2(-3+5v)= -6v-13#?

So, based off looking, I will just expand and see what happens.

#4(v+6)-2(-3+5v)=-6v-13#
#4v+24+6-10v+6v=-13#
#10v-10v=-43#
#v(10-10)=-43#
#v=43/0#

So, v is undefined but it is approaching infinity (when I have a very small denominator in a fraction, the value will approach infinity).
