If you can't plot the graph yourself, substitute x=0x=0 and y=0y=0 into your equation to find the value of the other variable at that point.
(because graph intercepts yy-axis when x=0x=0 and xx-axis when y=0y=0).

At y=0y=0, 2x-0=12x0=1, which rearranges to x=0.5x=0.5, by dividing both sides by 2. Hence intercept 1 is (0.5, 0)

At x=0x=0, 2(0)-y=12(0)y=1, which rearranges to y=-1y=1 by multiplying both sides by -1. Hence, intercept 2 is (0, -1)
